On May 15th, the China Zambia Cooperation High Quality Development Forum was held in Kenneth, Zambia。Zambian President Hichilema attended and delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony.More than 1000 cabinet ministers, including Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Du Xiaohui, Zambian Minister of Commerce and Industry Mulanga, as well as representatives from the Zambian government, parliament, political parties, local governments, international organizations, and more than 200 enterprises from both countries, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, under the witness of President Hichilema, the Zambian Overseas Chinese Association and the Zambia Development Agency signed a memorandum of cooperation on the southern development zone of Zambia.This development zone is located in the southern province of Zambia, covering an area of over 1000 hectares. It has abundant commercial opportunities and various preferential policies, which will provide numerous opportunities for enterprises interested in investing and developing in Zambia.
In addition, the Zambian Overseas Chinese Association has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the China Non Corporate Social Responsibility Alliance, aiming to broaden communication and cooperation channels,To jointly promote exchanges and cooperation between Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese communities in Zambia, build a platform for win-win cooperation, consolidate and develop traditional friendly relations between China and Zambia, and further expand the economic and trade achievements between China and Zambia.
