iACA Discusses Cooperation with Delegation of the Law Society of Malawi

2026-10-19
Recently, a delegation from the Law Society of Malawi visited the Lilongwe headquarters of the International Arbitration Centre Africa (IACA), where the two sides held working talks.

The two sides conducted in-depth consultations on topics including the development of international arbitration in Malawi and the joint training of foreign-related lawyers. They agreed to leverage the platform resources of IACA to build regular communication channels between the bar associations, law firms and practicing lawyers of Malawi and China, jointly promote the development of arbitrator and mediator teams, and explore the establishment of a long-term cooperation mechanism between IACA and the Law Society of Malawi.

This exchange will further deepen the capacity building of foreign-related dispute resolution in Malawi, consolidate the foundation for practical cooperation between the legal communities of Malawi and China, and facilitate the efficient resolution of cross-border commercial disputes.
