     Secretary-general Wang Chengjie first welcomed the visit of the business counsellor and his delegation. He pointed out that maintaining the resilience and stability of the global supply chain is an important guarantee to promote the development of the world economy, and the supply chain of the global industrial chain is taking on new remarkable features. Under such circumstances, the ccpit chain expo demonstrates the Chinese government's determination to continuously expand opening-up and win-win cooperation, and sends a clear signal that China will participate in the construction of a deeper global industrial chain supply chain. At the same time, secretary-general Wang Chengjie further introduced the results of the first chain Expo and the basic situation of the second chain expo, and to the Algerian embassy in China on the exhibition, organized activities and other related issues. In addition, he pointed out that arbitration, as a universal means of dispute resolution, is playing a more important role in the new era of increasingly close economic and trade cooperation between China and Arab countries. As the earliest foreign-related arbitration institution in China, it has done a lot to promote the development of international arbitration, promote international economic and trade cooperation, especially the “Belt and Road” initiative on services. In the future, CIETAC will strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the legal circle of commercial arbitration in Algeria to jointly promote the economic and trade development of the two countries. Secretary-general Wang Chengjie also made a presentation on the upcoming 2024 China Arbitration Summit Forum and china-middle East and North Africa Arbitration Summit to be held on 26 September, the Algerian embassy in China is cordially invited to send representatives to attend the event.
     

Mr. Smail Halfaoui expressed his gratitude for the reception. He pointed out that China and Arab countries have a profound traditional friendship, friendly cooperative relations are developing continuously, and the chain expo is a good platform for deepening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, it has also achieved fruitful results in promoting the development of international commercial dispute settlement. The Algerian embassy in China is willing to actively promote the second chain expo to the Algerian Enterprises and provide support and assistance for related enterprises to visit the exhibition. At the same time, Mr. Smail Halfaoui expressed the support of the Algerian embassy in China for the 2024 arbitration summit between China and the Middle East and North Africa.

    The two sides also exchanged views on such issues as how foreign parties should participate in arbitration, the advantages and characteristics of arbitration in the settlement of international commercial disputes, and cooperation between sino-arab arbitration institutions, we look forward to strengthening communication and cooperation in the field of commercial arbitration, better solving legal problems encountered by Chinese and Arab Enterprises, and making positive contributions to the development of economic and trade exchanges between China and Arab countries.
